It may have been all about the Brazilians in this week’s Sunday Million at PokerStars, but it was players from Sweden who excelled in the site’s largest buy-in tournaments.

The $2,100 Sunday High Roller finished with a Swedish one-two, while a Swede banked the top prize in the $1,050 Sunday Warm-Up. Let’s find out who won what and for how much!

The $2,100 Sunday High Roller is one of the toughest online poker tournaments as it lures in the game’s biggest stars. Anyone who comes out on top of this event is deserving of their prize.

Johannes “Greenstone25” Korsar (lead image) was this week’s champion. Korsar got his hands on $37,595 after striking a deal with fellow Swede Simon “C.Darwin2” Mattsson who collected $31,768 as part of that deal.

Thomas “WushuTM” Muehloecker was the first casualty of the eight-handed final table. Jens “Graftekkel” Arends joined him in seventh-place. Arends’ exit meant the remaining players would win at least $10,004.

That sum went to “edoiler” of Canada before Anatoly “NL_Profit” Filatov ran out of steam in fifth-place.

Hungarian legend Peter “Belabasci” Traply had to make do with the $17,311 fourth-place prize with Dominik “Bounatirou” Nitsche scooping $22,772 when he fell in third-place.

The $100,000 Sunday Mega Deep was one of the tournaments highlighted in our Weekend Preview, partly because it almost always overlays. Guess what? That happened again this week. Did you grab yourself some extra value?

Brazil’s “franguet” did. They finished on top of a 981-field to won $18,750. Not only did they give their bankroll a significant boost, they did the same with their confidence because the final step on the way to victory was a Swedish star by the name of Martin “MJacobson888” Jacobson.

franguet sent the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event champion to the rail in second-place, meaning Jacobson had to console himself with the $13,500 runner-up prize.

Shout-out to “CKLouis” of Austria who won $10,000, the only other entrant to secure a $10,000 or higher payout.
