partypoker POWERFEST

The partypoker POWERFEST was meant to conclude on March 29 with eight Main Events. partypoker’s management team, following requests from the players, decided to extend POWERFEST for another couple of weeks, but the Main Events still ran as scheduled.

These eight tournaments blitzed their guarantees. $1,630,000 was guaranteed across four NLHE and four PLO progressive knockout tournaments, but a cool $2,385,761 was awarded.

The player known as “Executioner_” walked away with the biggest POWERFEST Main Event prize courtesy of taking down the $2,100 buy-in NLHE edition. Some 367 players bought in and Executioner_ was the last player standing, a result worth $56,226 from the main prize pool and $62,456 worth of bounties.

A field of 2,583-entries ensured the $320 buy-in NLHE POWERFEST Main Event’s prize pool was even bigger than the $2,100 edition. “Loves2Spooge” was the main beneficiary of this juicy prize pool as they locked up the $49,164 top prize, which was boosted by $34,684 worth of bounties.

“Jeanss77” and “ACIOLI99” will look back at the Main Events with fond memories as they secured the titles of Medium and Low NLHE Main Event champions.

Jeanss77 walked away with a combined prize worth $35,779 while ACIOLI99 scooped $3,186.

The PLO editions of the POWERFEST Main Events were equally as impressive with all crushing their guarantees.

“Junglemandan” triumphed in the $2,100 buy-in edition, topping a field of 133 to turn his $2,100 into $67,787 with bounties included. Junglemandan, who isn’t Daniel Cates, has been tearing it up at partypoker recently, and even managed to win the MILLION and Big Game on the same night a couple of months ago.

“untouchble1088” was crowned the High PLO Main Event champion, an accolade that came with a total prize worth $22,030, not bad from a $320 investment.

The Medium and Low PLO Main Events were won by “Jaxon234” and “CORDEIROTHEMAN” who had to outlast 880 and 1,424 players on their way to victory. Jaxon234 scooped $5,778 in total and CORDEIROTHEMAN’s $5.50 swelled to $765.
