2020 POWERFEST PARTYPOKER

partypoker's most awaited online event of the season is back in March with a supersized guaranteed prize pool of $20m to be distributed across 488 events.

Running from March 15-29, the 2020 POWERFEST promises to bring on partypoker an action-packed calendar of no-limit hold'em and pot-limit Omaha events for a 15-day festival to remember.

"[The] POWERFEST is the one major series I always look forward to as it challenges you against some of the best online players in the world," shared team partypoker pro Patrick "Patrick_Leonard" Leonard.

Back at the tables after the two POWERFEST titles won in 2019, Leonard is ready to battle his way through the schedule to put together even more victories.

"I'll be looking to build on the success I've enjoyed previously in the series!"

Eight Main Events for a Total of $1,25m in Guarantees

The action kicks off on Sunday, March 15, when the players at partypoker will get busy with the festival inaugural event, the Powerfest #01-HR: $150 GTD [8-Max, Grind].

The $530 buy-in no-limit event that features a $150,000 guaranteed prize pool will then ignite a chain reaction that will see 144 more events take place one after the other until the festival wraps up with the Main Events on March 29.

Like for all the past editions of partypoker's POWERFEST, the climax of the action is expected to coincide with the series' four Main Events, when those in play will battle for a combined prize pool of $1,250,000.

All Main Events kick off at 7:30 p.m. (GMT) on Sunday, March 29, and come with buy-in fees that range between $5.50 and $2,100. All the four Main Events are played in the Progressive Knockout (PKO) format.

The Action Begins at 55 Cents!

Historically, partypoker's POWERFEST is known to be a festival with something to offer to all players.

Not only the number of event in the schedule is staggering, but also the variety of buy-ins (and guarantees) makes it the best tournament series to play in March for high rollers and players on a budget.

Tournament entry fees range between a minimum of $0.55 (!) and a maximum of $25,500 — meaning there's something for players who target low, medium, high, high roller and super high-roller buy-ins.
