Table Of Contents
Six years after the bold decision to leave the (now defunct) Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) behind and operate as an independent poker network, Unibet Poker calls all poker players to participate in some serious celebrations.
With an all-new Anniversary Prize Drop, the poker site promises to distribute €90,000 in prizes between February 24 and April 5, 2020.
The best part? Everyone can be a winner.

18,000 Prizes, 73 Prize Drops - Every Day!
During this massive six-week-long celebration, Unibet will give away over 18,000 prizes to the players who get busy at the site's Cash Game tables.
The prizes will reach players through 73 randomly-timed daily drops, giving everyone a shot at some of the goodies on tap.
Whenever one prize drop takes place, all the players at the selected table win a prize - regardless of the outcome of the hand they are playing.
The prizes include:
- HexaPro Tickets
- Bonus Points
- Supernova tickets worth €100 each
While the timing of the prize drops is random, the logic behind the distribution of the prizes isn't.
As the Unibet site explains, everything is connected to the buy-in levels, with most of the goodies going to the lowest stakes.
Prize | Daily winners | Buy-in |
---|---|---|
Gold | Up to 18 | NL/PL25+ |
Silver | Up to 120 | NL/PL10 |
Bronze | Up to 300 | NL/PL4 and Banzai |
How to Participate (and Win)
The randomness of Unibet's 2020 Anniversary Prize Drop makes it hard to create a surefire formula for winning a prize every day.
However, if you want to take a shot at any of the site's daily giveaways, you'll need to do the following
- Create an account at Unibet Poker (it's free)
- Follow the parachute icon in the lobby
- Play poker
If you are lucky enough to be seated at the right table at the right time…a prize is yours. No question asked.
Reading through the terms and conditions of this campaign we found out that the prizes are non-refundable (so no, you can't exchange your tickets for cash…) and the players must be dealt-in to the hand to be eligible to win.
Also, Unibet employees can't participate so — if you work for the site or any of its affiliated companies…you are out of luck.
Unibet's Road to Success Continues
The Anniversary Prize Drop comes right on the heels of the presentation of the company's 'Year End Report January - December 2019' given by Kindred Chief Executive Officer Henrick Tjarnstrom on February 12.
Commenting on the group's results, Tjarnstrom explained that the poker side of the business is thriving with $7.5 million in revenue generated during Q4-2019 alone.
While this represents only a mere 2 per cent of Kindred's global revenue, it's a very encouraging sign for the poker site.
"For the Kindred Group, online poker continues to provide a beacon of light. Over the last three years, annual revenue has increased every quarter but one."
According to Tjarnstrom, the main causes of these positive trends are the quality of the Unibet Poker software and the site's "casual approach to gaming."
