Joao Vieira Wins High Rollers 06: $530 NLHE 8-Max for $44,811.01

It's been an exciting few days of poker at the online felt, with the PokerStars High Rollers tournament series in full swing. With 12 events complete of a mammoth 27-event schedule, there have already been some big winners.

With a range of formats and buy-ins from $530 to $10,300, some of the best online poker players have taken to the felt, including Niklas "lena900" Åstedt, Steven "SvZff" van Zadelhoff, Samuel "€urop€an" Vousden and Ben "Ben86" Tollerene to name but a few.

There have already been some big-name winners, with Andreas “daskalos20” Christoforou winning the High Rollers 01: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max], and Joao “Naza114” Vieira adding a High Rollers series to the WCOOP title he won earlier this year.

High Rollers 01: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max]

High Rollers 01: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max] attracted a field of 106 players, only just breaking the $1,000,000 guarantee. As expected several well-known players made it to the final table. These included including Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford and Chris "Apotheosis92" Kruk.

However, it was Andreas “daskalos20” Christoforou (pictured) who took down the first tournament of the series, defeating Canada's "Roo_400" into second place. The Cypriot, who won the Sunday Million back in 2017 walked away with the $244,271.02 first prize.

Anyone for 'Pimmss'?

Even with only half the schedule completed, there has already been a two-time High Rollers champion, with "Pimmss" first winning High Rollers 02: $1,050 NLHE 8-Max PKO for $56,901.33 + $57,015.59 in bounties, and following that up with victory in High Rollers 12: $530 NLHE 8-Max for $41,674.50.

With over $155,000 in cashes so far this series, who's to say that "Pimmss" won't make it a hat-trick of tournament victories by the time the series wraps up next week?

High Rollers 05: $530 8-max Progressive KO

Another exciting tournament on the schedule was High Rollers 05: $530 8-max Progressive KO and it was satellite winner "NeedBeat" who emerged victorious, turning a $55 satellite into a $164,561.24 payday.
