You may think it is crazy talk to suggest a that awards a coveted World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet is good value, but believe us when we say the 2019 WSOP Europe Main Event at King’s Resorts is exactly that.

Poker action is heating up in Rozvadov as the WSOP Circuit is now underway at Kings Resort. The International Circuit event is a precursor to the much-anticipated 2019 WSOP Europe series that serves as the last chance of the year to snag a WSOP bracelet and earn points for WSOP Player of the Year.

A huge €5 million guarantee has been placed on the latest edition of the WSOP Europe Main Event, which comes with a €10,350 buy-in. Added to the incentive of capturing a coveted World Series of Poker bracelet is the fact that Kings has given away more than 100 seats to the WSOPE Main Event over the past 12 months, assuring an eclectic mix of participants.

Effel: "We were able to find some room to add some exciting new events that will drive bigger prize pools and keep players busy."

In addition to the value-packed WSOP Europe Main Event that will attract players from around the world, the schedule has something for everyone. Buy-ins range from only €350 up to a colossal €250,000 Super High Roller and fifteen WSOP bracelet are set to be awarded during the stop.

Kings and the WSOP recently added a €250,000 Super High Roller event, a €2,500 Short Deck tournament, plus €2,500 and €25,000 8-Game events.

“Coming off the success of the 50th Annual World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, we took another look at the initial WSOPE schedule and felt we could enhance it,” said WSOP Vice President Jack Effel. “Leon [Tsoukernik] and his team have been great partners for WSOP Europe and while the dates of the 2019 event haven’t changed, we were able to find some room to add some exciting new events that will drive bigger prize pools and keep players busy.”

By the end of the WSOP Europe festival, which runs from Oct. 13 - Nov. 1, more than €22.4 million will have been awarded.

Big Names Confirmed

Among the confirmed pros joining in on the action are the 15-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, the legendary Phil Ivey, and Daniel Negreanu. Hellmuth is looking for what will be his second WSOPE Main Event title having emerged triumphantly in the 2012 edition.

Negreanu will be bringing his A-game to the tables and is likely to play in many of the series' events as he is currently in third place on the WSOP Player of the Year standings. Negreanu has 3,166.24 points at present and trails only Shaun Deeb (3,280.13) and Robert Campbell (3,418.78) on the leaderboard.

Ivey may have been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons of late but we get the feeling he is heading to the Czech Republic to let his undoubted poker skills do the talking. Could it be at this festival that Ivey wins his eleventh bracelet? The poker world will be keeping an eye out.

Here's a look at the schedule that awaits those who make the trip King's in search of WSOP gold.
