Peter "kiskutya" Traply Wins 888poker's XL Eclipse High Roller

There aren't many players that have found more success in online poker tournaments than 888poker Ambassador Chris Moorman with $16.1 million in online tournament cashes.

In fact, according to PocketFives, there is just one in Peter "kiskutya" Traply, who has $16.9 million in earnings throughout his online poker career.

Traply has added another notch to his belt after winning the 888poker XL Eclipse #17: $100,000 High Roller for $20,450 after more than ten hours of play.

The High Roller provided exceptional value to all of the players that cashed with the 223 entries and 84 reentries making for $7,900 in overlay. A total of 36 players cashed for at least a min-cash of $750; more than double the $320 buy-in.

Four 888poker Ambassadors battled it out in the High Roller. Only 2014 WSOP Main Event Champion Martin "MJacobson888" Jacobson found some success in the event after finishing in thirteenth place for $1,350.

Sofia "sofialovgren" Lovgren was the first of the ambassadors to exit having hit the rail before late registration closed. Ana "AnaMarquez" Marquez followed her to the rail next, while Dominik "888Dominik" Nitsche bubbled the event after finding his stack short on chips when losing with ace-king to ace-king suited.

The final table began after more than eight hours of play with Russia's "sweet_dr34ms" in the chip lead.

The United Kingdom's Charlie "chazcombes" Combes entered the final table short on chips and was the first player eliminated in ninth place for $1,900 after his king-jack didn't get there against the aces held by his countrymate Ben "F3nix35" Dobson.

Shortly after, Traply snagged the chip lead after he doubled through Dobson when his tens held against big slick. He didn't let go of the lead until heads-up play.

Trapley extended his lead while sending his opponents to the rail including Latvia's "sikosomatik" (eighth - $2,500), Germany's "Imrunnigh0t" (seventh - $3,500), Dobson (sixth - $4,500), Romania's Tudor "01tdr" Lazar (fifth - $5,800), and Russia's "sweet_dr34ms" (fourth - $8,500).

The lead was so significant for Traply that he began three-handed play with almost double the chips of both his opponents' stacks combined.

Traply eliminated Portuguese poker pro Joao "joaobarb" Barbosa in third place for $11,300 when his ace-queen won a flip against his opponent's eights.

Traply entered heads-up play with an almost 5:1 chip advantage against "Kroat." But it wasn't smooth sailing for the Hungarian with both players holding a significant advantage at one point during an epic heads-up that lasted more than ninety minutes.

Traply eventually won a flip to win the tournament when his ace-queen got there against the deuces held by "Kroat." The latter didn't walk away empty-handed as he secured a healthy runner-up prize of $15,000 for his or her tremendous effort.
