RGPS Game Seven Season

The RunGood Poker Series, fresh off winning the Global Poker Award for Mid-Major Tour of the Year, is always spicing things up by giving their biannual seasons a theme. On Tuesday, the Fall season kicks off at Horseshoe Tunica.

The RGPS has partnered with Signature Championship Rings for a “Game Seven” theme, which will award National Championship styled rings to every RGPS tournament champion at all seven stops.

“It’s tough to win poker tournaments and it should be celebrated spectacularly even if it’s a $100 Turbo. Who doesn’t want a championship ring?” said Tana Karn, President of RunGoodGear.

To further drive home the sports theme, RGPS will encourage poker players to compete in their favorite sports team apparel.

PokerNews will once again return to live report each RGPS Main Event during the “Game Seven” Fall Season, including the RGPS Tunica $575 Main Event this weekend.

What to Expect from the RGPS Tunica

The stop kicks off Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT with the $135 RunGood Pro Bounty. Special guests will be holding bounty envelopes that contain prizes varying between $1,000 cash and RunGood apparel store credit.

On Wednesday, there will also be a $185 buy-in RG DeepStack $25K GTD, while PLO, turbo, and satellite tournaments litter the schedule all week long.

The stop will culminate with the $575 buy-in, $100K GTD RGPS Tunica Main Event. Back in May, Yousef Saleh navigated a 495-entry field in the Main Event before working a five-way deal that resulted in him taking home the trophy and $32,000 from the $247,500 prize pool.
