There were several major online poker tournaments held on Jun. 30 as the 2019 World Series of Poker continued its march towards a thrilling conclusion. Some of the big hitters are still in Nevada waiting for the $10,000 WSOP Main Event, but plenty of them have returned to their home and have been battling it out at the virtual felt.

This weekend’s $2,100 Sunday High Roller at PokerStars overlaid when 57 players ponied up the cash to compete for a slice of the $125,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Canada’s “kirbynator” took full advantage of the added value, topping the field to secure a cool $43,942 haul. The Canadian has been a big player in online poker circle for more than a decade and showed they still have what it takes to fight it out at the highest level.

Only six places were paid with “Bonglim” of the United Kingdom being the first casualty inside the money, falling in sixth place for $6,611. The Brit was joined on the rail by Finnish superstar Sami “Lrslzk” Kelopuro before “Anjeyyy” of Ukraine fell by the wayside for $14,103.

Jens “Graftekkel” Arends from the Netherlands busted in third place for $20,599 to leave "kirbynator" and Joris “BillLewinsky” Ruijs to battle heads-up for the title and lion’s share of the prize pool.

It was the former who came out on top, netting $43,942 leaving Ruijs to bank the $30,086 consolation prize.

The UFC KO Poker Series 57: $530 NLHE High Roller smashed it’s guaranteed out of the park when 923 players bought in to create a $461,500 prize pool that was shared half between the top 127 finishers and half on the heads of the competitors.

Finland’s Mikael “VaikoAssa” Koistinen was the first player to bust from the nine-handed final table, a finish worth $5,282 when bounties were taken into consideration. He was followed to the sidelines by “girafganger7” ($8,031), “tianming01” ($7,811) and Brazil’s “seijstar” ($15,548.

Canada’s Doug “dlanger610” Lang then fell in fifth-place for $12,107 and was joined on the rail by “hdjgkfgsdl” who netted $15,357. Third-place, the penultimate bust out, went to “kekito37” of Argentina who collected $24,056.

This set up a one-on-one battle with “ihor888888” of Ukraine and “DoesOner” from Mexico. The latter was the player who emerged victorious, collecting a cool $67,992 with the runner-up padding their bankroll with $42,609.

$112,750 was the collected prize pool in the Sunday High Roller Gladiator and it was “Suicidebomber” who was the player to emerge victoriously, their victory adding $41,778 to their partypoker bankroll.

Only the top seven finishers received prize money from the main prize pool, “DontDo_IT” being the first player to bank some cash. Seventh-place was worth $2,951 and they received no bounties payments to bolster this amount.

“CarpePiscis” and “PacoSILVERIO” were the next bust outs, finishes worth $6,198 and $8,287 before “HugoBarbaro” crashed out for a $7,561 score.

Everyone else banked a five-figure prize, “Shaundeeb” netting $11,290 in total for third place. Heads-up saw “skitzo7932” and “Suicidebomber” battle one-on-one with the latter emerging victorious, leaving skitzo7932 to haul in a $19,586 runner-up prize.

One of the biggest events held at partypoker on Jun. 30 was the $320 buy-in Sunday Gladiator that saw $150,000 paid out.

“cheveuxbleu” claimed the biggest share of the prize pool, a combined $25,630 when the bounty payments were taken into consideration. The champion defeated “l_qxg9y” heads-up to claim the title and resign the runner-up to a total prize worth $15,106.

Earlier at the final table, “Kingo99” busted in eighth place for $2,738 with “PCAmish” busting in seventh place for $3,629.

“ITSBAKINGDAVE” ran out of steam in sixth place for $4,807 before Team Online’s Jaime “jaimestaples” Staples collected $4,826 for his fifth-place finish. The final two eliminations were “NowNowNow” and “traumafanger” who turned their $320 investments into $6,656 and $8,270 respectively.

888poker ran its Sunday Sale again on Jun. 30, cutting the buy-in for some of it’s bigger tournaments, including the Sunday Mega Deep that saw it’s buy-in cut to $109 despite keeping its $100,000 guarantee.

Some 981 players fought it out at the 888poker virtual felt meaning 99 places were paid. Everyone at the final table won at least $1,300, the sum collected by “villagelife”. The prize money continued to rise as “DmytroR” ($2,200), “Priit” ($3,200), “CalmRevolver” and “FShayne” ($5,200) all fell in succession.

Sweden’s “Skrutten9” busted in fourth place for $7,450 and was then joined on the rail by Sebastian “p000cket000” Sikorski who banked $9,900 and left Romania’s “improv33r” and Russia’s “m0zga” to fight for the top prize.

It was Russia who came out unscathed, first-place being worth $18,350 with the Romanian star collecting $13,100 for their second place exit.

The Sunday Sale continued in the $20,000 Whale which saw the $530 buy-in reduced to $320. It proved a popular decision as 87 players created a $26,100 prize pool shared among the final table of nine players.

“Maurice12343” was the first of the in-the-money casualty; ninth-place was worth $913. Everyone else collected four-figures, including “MWTTGB” of Sweden ($1,044), “Hurrican3” ($1,174), “onyvapapaa” ($1,435) and India’s “checcmate” ($1,957).

Russia’s “Panzerfish” was the fourth-place finisher for $2,610 before “_APO_1” saw their tournament end in third-place for $3,915.

This set up a heads-up encounter between “Mimm000000u” of Malta of “4timesBet” from Uruguay. The South American came out on top to scoop $7,830 with the Malta-based grinder collecting $5,220.
