2019/20 WSOP Circuit

The 16th season of the World Series of Poker Circuit will kick off right after this summer’s WSOP, and there are some big changes in store including PokerNews’ return as the official live updates team for Main Events and High Rollers held throughout a record 35 stops.

The WSOP Circuit will also utilize the Big Blind Ante at all stops and will see their payouts change from 10 percent of the field up to 15 percent.

"We are confident these changes, plus exposure on PokerNews are positive and will lead to more excitement and satisfaction of the WSOP Circuit.”

“Changes in the past year were well received by both players and operators,” said WSOP Vice President Jack Effel. “This year, we complete our enhancements with Big Blind Ante becoming standard throughout all our events and stops, plus the decision to give 50% more players a portion of the prize pool. We are confident these changes, plus exposure on PokerNews are positive and will lead to more excitement and satisfaction of the WSOP Circuit.”

The 2019/20 season will kick off at Choctaw Durant in Oklahoma a day after the WSOP wraps in Las Vegas. Most of the usual stops grace the schedule, but players can also look forward to a half dozen new stops. Here’s a look at the new additions:
