France's Alex Viard has won the European Poker Series of Rozvadov €550 Main Event at King's Resort for €54,456 ($60,982) after agreeing to a four-way deal. Georgia's Vladimer Gigolashvili finished third but took home the most money (€64,275/$71,978.)

The tournament attracted 676 entrants including 168 reentries, so there was some overlay to be added to hone the guaranteed €419,330 prize pool. Players had plenty of chances to build a stack with a total of five opening flights each featuring unlimited reentries on May 1-4. Surviving players competed for two more days to get to a winner.

The final table was an international affair with players from six different countries battling it out for the title.

Markus Heblich finished ninth for €6,614 while Spain's Adrian Fernandez Conception finished in eighth for €8,352. Two anonymous Germans left the final table next with "Paul" (seventh - €11,980) and "German Schnitzel" (sixth - €15,911) departing early.

This left players from five different countries in the top five. After Israel's Asaf Levi hit the rail in fifth place for €20,370, the remaining four players made a deal.

Despite the final table starting with four German players, none of them made the podium after Andreas Thomas Gondrom was ousted in fourth place for €49,855. This was the most significant cash for Gondrom who also triumphed in a European Poker Series side event in March at Casino de Spa in Belgium for €1,732.

While Gigolashvili had the biggest stack when the four-handed ICM deal was struck, he was next to go. The bronze did net him the biggest prize as he took home €64,275.

France's Aurelie Laurence Dassi scored big with a second-place performance worth €50,559. This almost doubled the $30,401 in live tournament earnings Dassi had according to The Hendon Mob entering the event.

Alex Viard was the eventual winner of the event, walking away with a grand prize of €54,456 for his second biggest live tournament cash. Viard has had success in the Czech Republic in the past with his biggest tournament win coming in the country's capital of Prague where he shipped a €2,200 EPT side event in 2017 for €73,000.
