Fred Roll Bags Chip Lead on Day 1a of RGPS Tulsa Hard Rock Main Event
Fred Roll knocked out Keith Ferrera near the end of Day 1A to bag the chip lead with 166,000. Ferrera shoved all in with four diamonds on the board and Roll called with the J♦ for the third-nut flush and was good. He eliminated Ferrera and solidified the chip lead with only six hands left to play after the elimination.
The first of three flights for the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Main Event drew 82 entries and 16 players advanced to Day 2, which will be Sunday at noon.

Many of the RunGood family were in action Friday night including Blair and Mason Hinkle, who both busted and should return Saturday for the next two flights. Likewise, Julie Cornelius was also eliminated when she got all in with queens against Michael Crawford, who had kings.
Meanwhile, Justin Gardenhire (127,000), Cash Carpenter (64,500), Dan Martin (65,500), Grant Hinkle (139,500), and Papa Karn (68,500) all advanced to Day 2.
Tonight will likely end up being the most fun of the three flights. It started when Run Good CEO Tana Karn handed out cake to the players in celebration of winning the GPI's Global Poker Award for Mid-Major Tour of the Year last month.
Then it became common to applaud as players were heading to the rail. Many of the eliminated took bows as they either headed home for the evening or to the cashier to rebuy.
Two more flights will take place on Saturday with Day 1b at noon and finally Day 1c at 7 p.m.
