Triton Poker Returns to Montenegro With a 10-Event Series in May

Triton Poker is returning to Montenegro for the third time from May 5-17 and is bringing with it the busiest-ever schedule seen on the tour. The Maestral Casino & Resort is set to play host to 10 high-stakes tournaments, including no-limit hold’em, the increasingly popular Short Deck Turbos, in addition to pot-limit Omaha events.

What to Expect from 2019 Triton Montenegro Series
The Montenegro leg of the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series has historically attracted some of the biggest names in world poker. In 2017, German superstar Fedor Holz (US $444,893) and fellow German Manig Loeser ($2,162,644) were the big winners.
Last year, Short Deck was introduced to the schedule much to the delight of partypoker pro Jason Koon who walked away with a massive US$3,579,914 prize in the Short Deck Ante-Only Main Event. Poker legend Phil Ivey was also among the winners, banking himself US$604,977. Recent addition to the partypoker Player Panel Mikita Badziakouski took down the Main Event for US$2,499,090.
The action-packed schedule is sure to attract the players mentioned above plus a whole host of other big names from around the world. With the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series 2019 Montenegro wrapping up a couple of weeks before the 2019 World Series of Poker, those competing in it will be doing everything in their power to pad their bankroll before jetting off to Las Vegas.
