Wynn Signature Series Returns Jan. 16-27
The Wynn Las Vegas is kicking off the new year in style with the return of the Wynn Signature Series on Jan. 16-27, 2019.
The festival features nine tournaments with $690,000 in combined guaranteed prize pools.
Kicking things off is the $300 NLHE $3,000 Survivor with a $30,000 guarantee on Jan. 16 followed by the $550 No Limit Hold'em Seniors (50+) tournament on Jan. 17. On Jan. 18-21, the casino will be hosting four no-limit hold'em tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $300 to $550, each guaranteeing $30,000 to $50,000.
The action picks up from there as the remaining three events on the schedule each guarantee a six-figure prize pool.
The first of these big events is the $400 No Limit Hold'em event featuring a $100,000 guarantee and two opening flights on Jan. 22-23. Players start off with 20,000 in chips and blinds increase slowly at 40-minutes. Surviving players will compete for the title on Jan. 24.
Next up is the biggest event on the schedule with the $600 No Limit Hold'em event guaranteeing a big $250,000 prize pool. The tournament boasts three opening flights on Jan. 24-26 with players bagging chips battling it out until a winner is crowned on Jan. 27. The structure is identical to that of the previous event.
The Wynn hosted a similar event a few weeks ago when Roi Sasson outlasted a field of 779 entrants to win the top prize of $74,529.
The one-day $1,100 No Limit Hold'em event with a $100,000 guarantee on Jan. 27 closes out the schedule.

The Wynn is also hosting eight $120 and $180 buy-in Super Satellites from Jan. 17-25 where players can potentially qualify for the $250,000 event a bit cheaper.
