Akin Tuna leads the €10,300 High Roller at PokerStars EPT Prague

Akin Tuna again finished with the chip lead at the close of the day in €10,300 No-Limit Hold'em at the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague, but this time he's considerably closer to the prize as only five players still have a pulse out of the 38 total entries.

Tuna bagged 572,000 at the close of 10 levels of play, and he'll be joined by Davidi Kitai (490,000), Daniel Dvoress (396,000), Ognyan Dimov (272,000) and fellow Turkish grinder Orpen Kisacikoglu (150,000) on Day 3.

While Tuna started the day with the lead and ended right back there, it was anything but smooth sailing for him as he experienced plenty of peaks and valleys while a handful of other players ascended to the top of the counts at various times.

Most notably, Dvoress spent a significant portion of the day as the leader, both at some early stages and later ones. He amassed over 600,000 after busting both Jan Schwippert and Ivan Deyra in two of the final three unpaid places, including the latter in seventh on the stone bubble.

Both of those players fell to dominating hands held by the Canadian, but Tuna put Dvoress in the dominated spot right after that when he four-bet queens and called Dvoress' five-bet ship, fading a pocket pair of nines to double past his opponent.

A little after that, in a slow final level to end Day 2, Thomas Boivin finished as the only player busted but in the money when he squeeze shoved pocket queens but ran into the flatted pocket aces held by Dimov.

Some of those who busted out of the money included Steve O'Dwyer, Sam Greenwood, Sam Grafton, Juha Helppi and Ryan Riess.
