TBT: John Juanda's Christmas Prop Bets
Christmastime or, as was once sung by Andy Williams, "the most wonderful time of the year." This time of year often brings up memories of toasting marshmallows by the fireplace, young children writing letters to Santa, and getting drunk and making fitness prop bets. Well, the latter may only be true for John Juanda.
In this week's TBT, we celebrate Christmas. Back at EPT Barcelona 2015, Juanda tells Sarah Herring how he "maybe had a little too much to drink" at a Christmas party and made a bunch of prop bets for the new year. Juanda went on to win that EPT Barcelona Main Event for €1,022,593! What were the prop bets he made? Did preparing for those prop bets help lead him to an EPT title? Watch to find out!
