PokerStars Launches High-Roller Club Online Tournament Schedule
PokerStars has revamped its high stakes poker tournament offering with the creation of what it is billing as the High-Roller Club, leading up to the 2019 PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) to take place in the Bahamas in just over two months.
Buy-ins for the new High-Roller Club start at $530 and increase up to $2,100, so are certain to attract the attention of online poker’s elite grinders who are looking to end 2018 with a bang and a massive boost to their bankroll.
Six High-Roller Club events are scheduled to run Monday through Saturday, starting with a $1,050 buy-in Daily Warm-Up. High rollers can then get involved in a $530 buy-in Bounty Builder High-Roller, a $1,050 Daily-themed event, the $530 buy-in Daily 500 before ending their session with a $1,050 buy-in Daily Cooldown and a $530 Daily Supersonic, the latter being a hyper-turbo structured event. Sunday’s High-Roller Club schedule sees seven tournaments, some with buy-ins of $2,100. The Sunday schedule is similar to the daily listing, but the Daily-themed $1K is replaced with a huge $2,100 Sunday High-Roller. The Sunday Cooldown sees its buy-in increased to $2,100 and the Sunday Supersonic High-Roller edition will command a $1,050 buy-in.
Fans of pot-limit Omaha can also get in on the high roller action with a $530 Omania High-Roller taking place every Sunday.
Satellites for the High-Roller Club events are available starting from only $17.50, giving PokerStars’ players the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of online poker’s greats in a major online tournament but for a small outlay.
