Tons of Added Value in the Malta Poker Festival Ladies Event on Nov. 3
Players are gearing up for the Malta Poker Festival on Nov. 1-6 at the Portomaso Casino in Malta's vibrant hotspot St. Julian's.
The highlight of the six-day festival is the €550 Malta Poker Festival Grand Event on Nov. 1-6. The tournament features three opening flights along with a massive €500,000 guaranteed prize pool. The event will be covered from start to finish by the PokerNews Live Reporting Team.
There are many other events on the schedule, each unique in its own way. One event many players have their eyes on is the €100 MPF Ladies Event on Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. CET.
The Ladies Event features a great structure with players kicking off the action with 20,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 20 minutes. Players that are eliminated early can reenter once before late registration closes at the conclusion of Level 8.

Twelve ladies already qualifying for the Main Event and many others have confirmed their attendance including Unibet Poker Ambassador Daiva Byrne, Let's Go Poker Founder Fiona Sand, Steffi Quint, and local ambassador and business mogul Christina Ellul Vincent.
Event Director of the Malta Poker Festival Ivonne Montealegre is a strong proponent of bringing ladies into poker and believes ladies events are growing in popularities. She also believes that ladies events are an excellent way to help bring ladies into open events.
"Poker has certainly flatlined, and ladies events are gaining a lot of strength," Montealegre shared with PokerNews. "One of my personal goals is to include as many ladies into the industry and the game and share the passion for the game we love. I personally want to travel more with poker and ladies just make it so much fun!"
