Throwback Thursday: Nickelback or Bieber?
Sitting atop this year's Ladies GPI Player of the Year rankings is none other than Kristen Bicknell. Bicknell, who was 2017's Ladies GPI Player of the Year, has had an impressive year thus far with over $1 million in live earnings since January. It seems fitting that in the midst of thee consistent cashes and increased earnings that Bicknell entered her first $100K tournament. She played the WSOPE $100K Super High Roller last week at King's Casino. Unfortunately, Bicknell did not cash the tournament. It was Martin Kabrhel who defeated David Peters heads up for the €2,624,340 first place prize.
Bicknell has officially made the leap to the nose bleed high roller tournaments and she remains in the top 20 of the Overall GPI. For this week's Throwback Thursday, we see her making much tougher decisions than what to do with jacks pre-flop out of position. In this 2016 video, she tackles Sarah Herring's hard hitting questions on Canadian preferences and pop culture. Why does Herring call herself a pedophile? Does Bicknell love or hate Toronto? Watch to find out!
