On Wednesday, Australian poker pro Jackie Glazier took to social media to announce that she will be appearing on the latest season of Survivor Australia, which has already filmed.

With nearly $1.4 million in lifetime earnings, Glazier currently sits 26th on Australia’s all-time money list. In 2012, she finished runner-up in the World Series of Poker Event #41: $3,000 NLHE for a career-best $458,996, and the following year she took 31st in the Main Event for $229,281. She also captured a gold bracelet when she won the 2013 WSOP Europe Ladies Championship.

Here’s what her Survivor bio says about Glazier:

Jackie has made a living out of reading people’s body language and keeping her cards close to her chest but now her poker face is about to be put to the ultimate test.

Unlike its American counterpart, which traditionally has 18-20 castaways battling for $1 million over 39 days, the Australian version features 24 contestants competing for $500,000 over 50 days.

The latest season, which will take place at Savusavu in Fiji, is titled Australian Survivor: Champions V Contenders and will see 12 average Joes (the Contenders) square off against 12 extraordinary players (the Champions).

Glazier will be a part of the Champions tribe alongside the likes of Biggest Loser trainer and former special forces officer Steve “Commando” Willis, former Australian rules footballer Brian Lake and rugby league footballer Mat Rogers, just to name a few. There’s also a rumor that Russell Hantz, one of the most notorious villains in Survivor history, will take part in the new Australian season.

"They really have found people who are true champions in their field," host Jonathan LaPaglia told TV Week. "It's a great narrative for this season: people who are highly trained versus the average guy."

Glazier isn’t the first poker pro to tackle Survivor. Earlier this year, online legend Ilari Sahamies competed in the Finnish version of the show, and back in 2015, Anna Khait was a part of the USA’s 32nd season. Others to play in the past include recent bracelet winner Jean-Robert Bellande and cash game specialist Garrett Adelstein.

Australian Survivor will premiere on Wednesday, August 1 on TEN and WIN Network.
