CAD$50,000 Last Longer at the WSOP-C Playground Main Event
The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) returns to Canada for the first time in two years from Aug. 23 when the WSOP-C Playground festival kicks off at the fantastic Playground Poker Club in Quebec.
Seven WSOP-C ring awarding events are scheduled to take place at the Playground Poker Club between Aug. 23 and Sept. 3. These events have a wide range of buy-ins so that everyone can get involved regardless of the size of their bankroll.
The CAD$330 Colossus kicks things off at WSOP-C Playground. There is a CAD$1 million guarantee attached to this tournament, despite the affordable buy-in. Four online Day 1s take place at partypoker on Aug. 19-22 with eight live Day 1s taking place at the Playground Poker Club between Aug. 23-26.
Other ring-awarding events include a CAD$660 Monster Stack Freezeout, CAD$5,300 Super High Roller, a CAD$330 Closer, a CAD$2,200 High Roller and a CAD$550 Pot-Limit Omaha event. The showpiece event, however, is the CAD$1,100 Main Event that comes with a chunky CAD$2 million guaranteed prize pool.
Players in the WSOP-C Playground Main Event have a choice of four starting flights, each seeing them sit down with 50,000 chips, playing to hour-long blinds.
