MILLIONS Online

When partypoker last ran its MILLIONS Online tournament in Dec. 2017, the $5 million guarantee was surpassed and Jon “sordykrd” Van Fleet took it down to turn his $5,300 investment into a colossal $1,027,000. partypoker is gearing up to run the second edition of MILLIONS Online, this time with a guarantee of $20 million, four times the size of the original.

partypoker says that this gargantuan prize pool allows them to make at least four of its players millionaires with the eventual champion walking away with at least $2.5 million.

There are dozens of MILLIONS Online satellites running around the clock, as you would imagine, but there is another way to get your hands on a $5,300 ticket or bag yourself a share of $60,000 worth of MILLIONS Online tickets every week at partypoker thanks to the MILLIONS Online Leaderboards.

The MILLIONS Online Leaderboards award $60,000 worth of tickets every week and will have given away $3 million worth by the time they end in late November. You earn points for the leaderboards by playing in any cash prize awarding Power Series tournament, partypoker’s name for its daily tournament schedule, based on the formula below.

Leaderboard Points = 10 * [√n/√rank] * [1+log (buy-in+0.25)]

  • n = Number of player in the Power Series tournament
  • Buy-in = Cost of the Power Series tournament buy-in
  • Rank = Finishing position in the Power Series tournaments

This formula comes into play once you have finished in the money places of a Power Series tournament. It has been designed to reward players who go deep in tournaments rather than those who simply log a lot of volume.

partypoker has split the leaderboards into two, based on the buy-in level for the Power Series tournaments. You earn points for the Low Leaderboard by playing in Power Series tournaments that have buy-ins of $0.55 to $44 with anything costing $55 or more to enter earning you points for the High Leaderboard.

The top 10 points earners in the High Leaderboard win a $5,300 MILLIONS Online ticket for the $20 million guaranteed event later this year. Check out what you can win below:
