Triton Poker is heading to Jeju Landing Casino in South Korea for 10 days of exciting high-stakes poker action from July 23 to Aug. 1.

The entire festival will feature two no-limit hold'em events along with three events in ante only short-deck poker, otherwise known as six-plus hold'em, where all of the deuces through fives are removed from the deck.

Short-deck poker plays similar to no-limit hold'em with different hand rankings including a flush being stronger than a full-house and three of a kind being stronger than a straight.

Koon and Ivey are among the players confirmed to return for what is bound to be another action-packed series.

The festival comes on the heels of a highly successful in Montenegro where partypoker Ambassador Jason Koon shipped the HKD 1,000,000 ($127,000) Short Deck Ante-Only Event for HKD 28,102,000 ($3,579,836) and Mikita Badziouski won the HKD 1,000,000 ($129,000) Main Event for HKD 19,618,400 ($2,499,185).

In addition, 10-time WSOP gold bracelet winner Phil Ivey and Triton Poker founder Richard Yong took down side events, while many nosebleed live streamed short deck cash games were on display throughout the festival.

Koon and Ivey are among the players confirmed to return for what is bound to be another action-packed series.

"I have been good buddies with Paul (Phua) and Richard (Yong) for quite some time and love what they're doing," said Koon. "These guys don't play around. They put on big events; big tournaments and they treat players well. I am excited to go to Jeju. Bianca and I intend to get over there, do some leisure things, and win a couple of tournaments."

The action at Jeju Landing Casino kicks off with the HKD 100,000 ($13,000) No-Limit Hold'em Short-Deck, Ante Only event with two opening flights on July 23-24 followed by a final day on July 25.

The stakes increase in a big way for the HKD 500,000 (USD 64,000) NLHE Short-Deck, Ante Only event on July 25-26, followed by the HKD 500,000 (USD 64,000) NLHE 6-Max event on July 26-27.

The buy-in then doubles for the HKD 1,000,000 (USD 127,000) NLHE Short-Deck, Ante Only event on July 28-29.

The three-day HKD 2,000,000 (USD 255,000) NLHE Main Event is easily the highlight of the festival on July 30 to Aug. 1.

Of course, as was the case in Montenegro, there will be live streaming of all of the tournaments and the cash games at Twitch. Randy Lew will return for the English stream joined by Lex Veldhuis and Chen An Lin will commentate the Chinese stream.
