Road to Vegas: 888poker Offers Players Chance at WSOP Glory
Maybe your bankroll is more of a minor event than Main Event? Then 888poker has you covered with the site’s “Road to Vegas” promotion. The site offers a few ways for players to win their way to the WSOP $10,000 Main Event or Event 62, the $888 Crazy Eights No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed tournament. And there’s still time for some lucky players to take home a package.
Newly Registered Players
The Road to Vegas is actually a two-part promotion. The first part is geared toward newly registered players. Simply by registering, players earn an “All-in Tournament” ticket – that could pay big dividends.
The All-in Tournament plays out basically like a raffle. Right before the tournament gets underway, players will learn on screen if they are playing for the top prize, a Main Event package, or an entry into the Crazy Eights event. Once the tournament begins, players are constantly all-in until there is only a single player left; the winner.
That last man or woman standing takes home the prize package. The $888 event is certainly not a bad prize either – paying out $888,888 to the winner.
First Time Depositors
The poker site’s second promotion is for first-time depositors using the dedicated promotional code “Vegas10.” These players then get a daily ticket to the All-in Tournament.
In addition, these new depositors also earn a one-month subscription to PokerGO. This promo makes it so all these players are connected to Las Vegas and the WSOP in some way – either as a prize package winner or checking out all the action live with the streaming PokerGO app.
Players have until June 13 to make that first deposit with the promo code "Vegas10" to get in on the All-in Tournament action.
Those who win the Main Event Package will be set up in style. Valued at $12,600, the Main Event package includes:

- Five nights (July 3-8) at the luxurious Vdara Hotel in Las Vegas.
- $1,050 for travel and expenses paid by 888 directly to the winner’s poker account.
- An invitation to the 888 Poker welcome session.

Those winning the Crazy 8s Package will also be served up a nice prize. Valued at $2,700, that package includes:
