Later this month, the World Poker Tour is taking over the Esports Arena Las Vegas at Luxor Resort & Casino from May 25-28.

On May 25, the venue will play host to the WPT Bellagio $25,000 High Roller final table, which will be filmed for television. That tournament attracted 54 entries earlier this month but played down to the final six before taking a two-and-a-half-week hiatus.

Those still in contention for the $432,000 first-place prize are Tom Marchese (2,359,000 in chips), David Peters (1,575,000), Aaron Ogus (857,000), Sam Soverel (391,000), Rainer Kempe (175,000) and Jake Schindler (43,000).

Likewise, the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions will see its final table play out at the arena the following day at 4 p.m. local time. The early stages of the $15,000 buy-in event will take place at ARIA before moving over to Luxor.

Fans will have the opportunity to watch action from both tournaments in person at the Esports Arena Las Vegas. The $20 million state-of-the-art facility, which opened its doors back on March 22, boasts 30,000 square feet and has already played host to a number of events featuring popular gaming titles. Poker will take center stage for the first time thanks to the WPT.

On May 27, the WPT will also hold a special taping of a televised $100/$200 no-limit hold’em cash game.

Finally, on May 28, the arena will play host to the ClubWPT Challenge the Champs tournament where two qualifiers – Monte “Dino” Phelps and Thomas Wallett – will compete against pros for $50,000 in front of millions of viewers on television.

PokerNews was able to confirm the “champs” lineup as David Williams, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Darren Elias, Mohsin Charania, Mike Sexton and Scotty Nguyen.

For the WPT events open to the public, fans can enter the arena each day starting at 1 p.m. While there they can enjoy games, food and drinks, as well as participate in giveaways for WPT swag and WPT500 seats.
