Team PokerStars Pros to Giveaway Platinum Passes
One of the most sought-after poker packages right now is a Platinum Pass for the inaugural PokerStars Players Championship. These packages are worth $30,000 each and give the players the opportunity to head to the Bahamas and play for a life-changing sum of money in January of 2019 at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.
PokerStars asked four of their pros to come up with a unique way to give away passes to members of their respective community and Felix Scheiders, Fintan Hand, Ben Spragg, and Andre Akkari got creative. Here’s how these players are going to give away Platinum Passes the coming months.
Felix Schneiders: BroBattle
Felix Schneiders has created BroBattle. Schneiders, along with his two “Pokerbros” Murat Tulek and Niklas Ehrenholz, will handpick entrants to represent their teams and battle in monthly live sit & go tournaments at Schneiders’ streaming studios in Cologne, Germany. A grand final will take place on Sept. 2 where the overall winner will walk away with a Platinum Pass.

Fintan Hand & Ben Spragg: As Random As It Gets
Fintan Hand and Ben Spragg created what is known as “As Random As It Gets.” The popular streaming duo are going to set some random challenges such as fitness challenges and photoshop contests. Those entrants chosen will play in an online final on Jul. 29 where one Platinum Pass will be won. Be sure to follow their Twitch channel to be in with a chance of being selected.

Andre Akkari: From BSOP to PSPC
Finally, Brazil’s Andre Akkari has made “From BSOP to PSPC” which ee Akkari hold qualifying sit & go tournaments at three Brazil Series Of Poker (BSOP) event, starting with the Sao Paulo event in July. Players who reach the money places in the opening tournaments of each BSOP stop are entered into a draw where six players will be randomly chosen to play in an exclusive sit & go. Akkari will then choose two wild-card players to join the table. The three winners from each BSOP event will then play in a live final at BSOP Millions in Sao Paulo on Dec. 6 where the champion scoops a $30,000 Platinum Pass.
