Winamax SISMIX Heads to Es Saadi Marrakech from May 5
The fifth edition of the Winamax SISMIX takes place from May 5-13 at the fantastic Es Saadi Resort in Marrakech and it is not to be missed.
Previous editions of the Winamax SISMIX have been marvelous fun as they mix in a packed poker schedule with daily parties, delicious food and renowned DJs. If you’re looking for a fun live poker tour then look no further than the Winamax SISMIX.
More than two dozen tournaments are scheduled for the 2018 Winamax SISMIX, but it is the Main Event that everyone will want to win. This Main Event costs the equivalent of €550 to enter and sees everyone sit down at six-handed tables armed with 50,000 chips, and playing to 40-minute blinds. Players are permitted to re-enter once per each of the three starting flights.
You will notice that the currency for the tournaments, including the Main Event, are in Dirhams (MAD) when you check out the busy schedule below. We have added the approximate Euro equivalent to the buy-ins to help you budget for your trip.
Most of the Winamax SISMIX side events have a unique twist in that you can purchase a Dealer Bonus before the start of play to receive more chips in your starting stack. For example, in the festival-opening Warm Up event, you can pay an extra 100 MAD and receive an extra 2,000 chips to take your starting stack to 20,000. Not all of the events have this option so make sure you familiarize yourself with the schedule below.

Winamax SISMIX would not be the same without a busy schedule of activities away from the tables. Everyone who registers for a SISMIX tournament, excluding satellites, receives a bracelet that gives them free access to the lavish pool parties, access to the Theatro nightclub and all of the SISMIX activities for the nine-day festival.
The Theatro nightclub is open from 11:00 p.m. until the early hours of the morning throughout SISMIX. At least 12 DJs will be playing throughout the festival, including Bakermat, DJ Angelo, Dual Beat, DJ James, Nicolas Monier, Stone Van Broken, Sara Lugo, Ayanne, Mymy, DJ Kol, Super Mana and Miss Owl.
Players at Winamax SISMIX will also be able to head to daily pool parties and enjoy the SISMIX Hub Social Club which will be serving as a sports bar throughout the day and features an American food court. It is here that players can get involved in betting challenges, quizzes, beer pong and more.
