High-stakes players from around the world are gearing up for the second-ever High Roller Series at PokerStars with $10 million in guaranteed prize pools from March 18-26.

The festival features 27 action-packed tournaments — five more than took place in the inaugural High Roller Series in November. Another change from the first festival is that minimum buy-in for events was reduced from $1,050 to a more affordable $530.

Most of the tournaments will be played in no-limit hold'em. However, there are tournaments scheduled in many other poker variants including pot-limit Omaha, no-limit Omaha hi-lo, pot-limit Omaha/no-limit hold'em mix and 8-game. Also, many tournament formats will be used including freezeout, turbo, progressive knockout and Zoom.

The festival kicks off on March 18 at 2 p.m. ET with the two-day High Rollers 01: $1,050 NLHE, $500,000 Gtd. Shortly after that is the first of three tournaments with a seven-figure guarantee, High Rollers 07: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max], $1M Gtd. on March 20 at 2 p.m. ET.

Another $1 million guaranteed tournament, the High Rollers 14: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max Progressive KO] is two days later on March 22 while the highlight of the festival, the High Rollers 23: $2,100 NLHE [Main Event], $2M Gtd. starts the first of its two days on March 25 at 1 p.m. ET.

How to Qualify for the High Roller Series

While many players with huge bankrolls will be directly buying into High Roller Series events, many others will attempt to get in for a fraction of the cost with the plethora of satellites and feeder tournaments running around the clock.

Players can also qualify for the $2,100 High Roller Series Main Event or win other High Roller Series tickets for just $25 playing Spin & Go tournaments. These games rake just six percent, making it an excellent path to play for huge money in a High Roller Series tournament.
