Throwback Thursday: "Isildur1" Revealed to be Viktor Blom
This week, we saw the legendary online pro Viktor "Isildur1" Blom playing a live tournament. The elusive Swede came to the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Germany where he played several events. Most notably, Blom won the MILLIONS Germany Main Event for well over $1 million.
In honor of Throwback Thursday, we take a look back to the PCA 2011, when Isildur1's identity was first revealed. Before, he was only known by his online name and the massive cash games he played against Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, and most notably Brian Hastings. While many already knew, the poker world was still anxious to see the reveal.
Seven years later, we know the face of this highly skilled player all too well. Still, we don't know much more than that about the mysterious Viktor Blom.
