Global Poker found such great success with their SC$218 buy-in events in the latest Grizzly Games series, that they have decided to bring the event to Global Poker players on a weekly basis. The new Sunday Major kicks off this Sunday at 5:30 p.m. EST offering up a SC$30,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Satellites for the first-ever weekly SC$218 buy-in event are running now at Global Poker, where players can qualify for as little as SC$1.10. Most of the Round 1 qualifiers ring in at the $3.21 price tag with the winners getting a seat into the $33 Sunday Major Mega Satellite on Sunday at 4:20 p.m. EST.
The Mega Satellite features a Turbo Six-max format and guarantees ten SC$218 seats for the Sunday Major. Players who choose to do so can buy in directly for $33 for a shot at a seat in the Major at a heavily discounted price.
The SC$110 buy-in Sunday Teaser is another great way to warm up for the Sunday Major. Another deep-structured event, the Teaser kicks off at 3 p.m. EST and boasts a SC$10,000 guarantee.
