888poker and Poker Central have shaken hands on a massive deal that sees 888 sponsor the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl and a whole host of Poker Central’s marquee events throughout 2018 and into 2019.

Under the terms of the agreement, 888poker will be the exclusive in-show sponsor in the real money online poker category and will be the principle sponsor of the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl. 888poker will also feature prominently during several broadcast poker events such as Poker After Dark, the ARIA High Roller Series, Poker Masters and the U.S. Poker Open.

Sam Simmons, the Vice President of content at Poker Central, said of the deal renewal, “This is our third consecutive year partnering with 888poker, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have them on board for our growing slate of prestigious events. Together, we’re looking forward to further growing the sport by offering more tournaments that poker fans and professionals alike will enjoy.”

888poker’s Guy Cohen, the SVP head of B2C for 888 Holdings, was as happy with the new deal as Simmons.

“We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Poker Central and look forward to the fantastic initiatives we will pursue together. 888poker’s commitment to ‘taking back the game’ is further strengthened by this renewed partnership. This exciting collaboration will connect our players to global poker content of the highest calibre both as fans and participants.”

888poker will be offering its players highly sought-after packages to Poker Central’s exclusive events, such as the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl. Last year’s event commanded a $300,000 buy-in and was won by German superstar Christoph Vogelsang for a cool $6 million.

Previous Super High Roller Bowl winners include Rainer Kempe, who won $5 million in 2016 and Brian Rast, who secured the $7,525,000 top prize in 2015.
