WPT Uruguay will take place in one of the world’s most beautiful locations for a poker festival, along the marvelous ocean front of Punta del Este. Located on a narrow peninsula along the southeast of Uruguay, Punta del Este is a charming resort destination known for its spectacular beaches and vibrant culture. The gorgeous location is one of the main reasons the World Poker Tour teamed up with Enjoy Punta del Este for its first-ever televised event on the continent.
The luxurious Enjoy Punta del Este is located just a short five-minute walk from the beach. Guests can also unwind at one of the property’s two swimming pools or spend time in the comfort of the relaxing spa. The property also features a casino, fitness center, tennis courts, and several restaurants.
WPT Uruguay marks the World Poker Tour’s second tournament in South America in 2017. The World Poker Tour was recently at Infinity Blue Resort & Spa Camboriú for WPT Brasil. That event attracted nearly 3,400 entries.
