Prop-Betting Reality Series Coming to PokerGO on Sept. 5
Award-winning podcaster Joey Ingram will host a new original series called "Major Wager" exclusively on PokerGO starting Tuesday, Sept. 5. The show will star several of poker's biggest names facing off in a number of outrageous prop bets around Las Vegas, with the losers of the bets forced to brave humiliating punishments.
Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari and Sam Abernathy are among the poker players involved in the show which takes a humorous look at the insane world of prop betting. Some of the activities include pole dancing, car racing, and Top Golf.
"We wanted to explore what would happen if we combined the most competitive personalities in poker with prop betting in everyday scenarios - Las Vegas style," said Poker Central president Joe Kakaty. "'Major Wager' will be a hilarious addition to PokerGO’s already robust offering of original programming."
"Major Wager" follows the recent return of Poker After Dark as part of PokerGO's growing collection of content. On Sept. 13, the subscription service will debut the Poker Masters, a series of high roller tournaments expected to draw the game's top talents and personalities. Live final table streams of the World Poker Tour have also been added to the programming and will begin Thursday, Aug. 31 with the finale of the Legends of Poker.
