partypoker $35 Million Powerfest

The schedule for the $35 million guaranteed Powerfest has been revealed by partypoker and it makes interesting reading with 330 tournaments set to be played from Sept. 3-24.

Powerfest is partypoker’s online poker tournament series, one that has grown in size and stature with each new edition. Previously called Pokerfest, the partypoker Powerfest was launched in February 2016 and featured $5 million worth of guarantees. In May of the same year, Powerfest returned and brought with it $7.8 million in guaranteed prize pools, before growing to $10 million in September 2016.

As 2017 rolled in, partypoker unveiled an $11 million Powerfest before running another festival with $20 million guaranteed. The $20 million Powerfest was a huge success and saw more than $27 million paid out to partypoker’s players, including more than $3 million in a $25,500 buy-in Super High Roller event that attracted 129 entries.

The Super High Roller returns for this latest edition of Powerfest and features a $3 million guarantee on its prize pool. A host of partypoker pros and ambassadors, including Joao Simao, Sam Trickett, Patrick Leonard, Roberto Romanello and Dzmitry Urbanovich, are expected to play in what should be a superb poker spectacle.

A Poker Series For Everyone

Buy-ins for this latest Powerfest range from $5.50 to $25,500, which means there is a Powerfest tournament for players of all levels, regardless of the size of their bankroll. Dozens of Powerfest satellites can be found in the partypoker lobby right now for those people who want to take a shot at the big time without having to break the constraints of their bankrolls.

There are a total of 12 Championship events pencilled in during Powerfest, 10 of which boast of a prize pool of at least $1 million. Some of these Championship events are what partypoker called multi-phased tournaments, which allow players to play multiple Phase 1s or buy into the final day’s action directly.

A completely new event appears on the Powerfest schedule on Sep. 24 when the $109 buy-in Ladies Event takes place. This $10,000 guaranteed tournament is only open to female poker players and the guarantee should be smashed judged loosely on the fact partypoker’s female Facebook group has more than 400 members currently.

It isn’t only the $1 million guaranteed Championship events where you can win big during Powerfest because there are almost 30 events that cost only $5.50 to enter yet have prize pools of at least $10,000.
