With only 21 players remaining in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo, longtime pro and three-time bracelet winner Barry Greenstein is among the chip leaders looking for a fourth bracelet. In the Monster Stack’s first flight, several big names advanced including TJ Cloutier, Jonathan Duhamel, and Paul Volpe. Day 1b begins early Sunday morning. Benny Glazer is out to an early lead In the $10,000 Seven Stud Championship with Todd Brunson also one of the chip leaders.
Event #46: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better
The PLO fun played down to the final 21 players on Saturday and the winner takes home $223,339. Leading the field is Millard Hale with 640,000 chips followed by Kevin Saul (613,000), Miguel Use (598,000), John O'Shea (459,000), and three-time bracelet winner Barry Greenstein (359,000). Hale has several WSOP-C final table appearances and one championship ring, but is looking for his first bracelet. This would certainly be his breakthrough performance if he can parlay his chip lead into a title.
This event makes for the eighth cash for Greenstein, a member of the Poker Hall of Fame, who is still looking for his first final table this summer. He began Day 2 with a short stack but was able to work back up into one of the chip leaders.
The day saw 151 players return from the initial 830 entries. Others remaining include Wendy Weissman (274,000), Ray Henson (261,000), and two-time bracelet winners Barny Boatman and Marco Johnson (98,000). Henson has four WSOP-C rings and more than $2.3 million in tournament winnings, but is looking for his first bracelet.

Event #47: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em MONSTER STACK
This five-day event held one of two starting flights on Saturday and attracted 2,420 entries. The 768 players will have Sunday off as flight 1B cranks up. New York’s Allan Rabinovich (239,100) leads the first flight followed by Heidi May (230,100), Anna Antimony (182,500), Christophe Gross (172,900), Cathy Dever (172,500), Dong Guo (170000), and Loni Harwood (161,200). Other notables advancing to Day 2 include six-time bracelet winner T.J. Cloutier (41,700), three-time bracelet winners Jonathan Duhamel (16,000) and Paul Volpe (110,700), Ari Engel (106,500), Safiya Umerova (140,600), and Jared Griener (40,500).

Event #48: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship
The championship in this popular poker variant attracted 125 entries and a prize pool of $1.2 million. First place will take home a prize of $320,193, and England’s Benny Glazer leads the remaining 48 players with 325,500 chips.
Following him are Mack Lee (292,500) and Todd Brunson (271,000). Several other big names also advanced including John Monnette (221,500), Abe Mosseri (179,500), Dan Shak (175,500), Mike Watson (175,000), Brock Parker (128,000), Phil Hellmuth (70,000), James Obst (137,500), Jennifer Harman (166,000), and Daniel Negreanu (97,500). Event #49: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed
Shorthanded PLO is the game on Sunday with a mid-tier price point that should make for a nice prize pool. Vasili Firsau, of Minsk, Belarus, won this event in 2016 for a cool $437,575 and his first bracelet. The event attracted 682 entries for a $1.9 million prize pool.
