King's Casino Hosts First Poker Gamers Contest
King's Casino Rozvadov will put the top esports gamers to the test on Twitch May 16 and 17 in its first King's Poker Gamers Contest.
“After working with the most famous poker tours I'm delighted that King's Rozvadov has expanded into esports," Leon Tsoukernik said in a release. "This exclusive Gamers Contest and the launch of King's TV on Twitch all happens ahead of our property expansion and new hotel opening in August making King's Europe's number one poker destination.”
King's has already chosen the gamers: Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Sebastian "Forsen" Fors, Craig "Onscreen" Shannon, Alan "Hotted" Widmann, Jeffrey "SjoW" Brusi, Marcel "Dexter" Feldkamp, Sophia "djarii" White and Ted "PyrionFlax" Forsyth.
Kevin "RotterdaM08" van der Kooi will host the festivities live on Twitch.
These competitors will take part in two games: the sit & go on May 16 and the cash game on May 17. The sit & go is an eight-handed bounty game with a €10,000 total cash prize. Eliminating ElkY gets players an extra €250 reward. First pays out €4,000 and descends to €2,500 for second and €1,500 for third.
Comparatively, the cash game is a €2/5 three hour session with a €500 minimum buy-in and 7-2 bonus trick.
Visitors to the casino can meet the gamers and register on the waiting list for the cash game for a chance at the esport ambassador feature table.
