On the third day of the 888poker XL Inferno Series, 11 new tournaments started.

Most of the attention went to the $2,100 High Roller, where the best players in the world competed for the first prize of $116,974! Let's take a look at this tournament and the results of the other events that played out on Tuesday.

XL Inferno #36 - $500,000 High Roller

After more than 11 hours of play, Event #36 - $2,100 XL Inferno High Roller finally crowned a winner. Anton "anteen" Bertilsson claimed the victory and the first prize of after beating "Kannwas" in the deciding heads-up.

This event, with a buy-in of $2,100, saw 222 players register and those players made 64 rebuys to get a total amount of 286 players. They created a total prize pool of $572,000 with 36 places paid.

It took a while to get to the money but in the end, "GramNaKartke" was the last player finishing empty-handed. He lost a huge pot with king-queen against pocket aces, with lots of short stacks still in the tournament.

After the players reached the money, it went pretty quickly to a final table. On the bubble of the final table, there was a huge three-way all-in where "Kannwas" busted "morewater" and "sweetness158" with his pocket nines against ace-king and pocket sevens.

Just eight players went to the final table; "cocadas" and "peterpan_33." busted within 10 minutes.

When play reached the final six, players looking scared to bust and it took a while before another player was sent to the rail. After quite some time, "grandepike" lost all of his chips with ace-six against the king-queen of "anteen."

Shortly after, "Sr.Penes" (fifth, $33,176) and "diosmono69" (fourth, $48,620) busted to get the tournament three-handed.

Only a few hands later, they started the heads-up after "R1valdo10" lost a crucial coin flip with ace-king against the pocket jacks of Bertilsson. The Swedish started the battle for victory against "Kannwas" with a 2:1 advantage, but his opponent got back to even stacks pretty quickly.

"Kannwas" dominated for an hour, but in the end, the Swede took back control. He doubled with top pair against a straight draw and finished the job with pocket nines against ten-seven to secure himself of the first prize of $116,974.

XL Inferno #30 - $10,000 Lightning 6-Max

The first tournament of Day 3 of the series, the XL Inferno #30 - $10,000 Lightning 6-Max, attracted 169 players to create a prize pool of $26,500. Swedish player "AsaNisse4" took the lion's share of this prize pool, winning the tournament for $5,306.

XL Inferno #31 - $15,000 Breeze

Just a few hours later, Lithuania's "Magnf1cious" secured the victory in the XL Inferno #31 - $15,000 Breeze. He defeated a total of 555 players and received the first prize of $5,244.

XL Inferno #32 - $15,000 Deepstack Swordfish

The XL Inferno #32 - $15,000 Deepstack Swordfish saw "Rick7BR" take the first prize of $4,984 after defeating "DramaPanda" from Lithuania in the deciding battle.

XL Inferno #33 - $25,000 Crocodile

XL Inferno #34 - $15,000 Swordfish

Russian regular "Ti0373" was one of the winners on Day 3 of the XL Inferno Series. He won the XL Inferno #34 - $15,000 Swordfish for a total prize of $4,568.

XL Inferno #35 - $20,000 Monsoon

XL Inferno #37 - $150,000 Mini High Roller

Another big winner was crowned on Tuesday in the XL Inferno #37 - $150,000 Mini High Roller. In total, 845 players paid their buy-in of $215 to create a total prize pool of $244,600. Dutch player "Profided48" won the tournament to secure a great payday of $44,272.

XL Inferno #38 - $40,000 Tuesday Challenge

Another late night winner was crowned in the XL Inferno #38 - $40,000 Tuesday Challenge. More than 11 hours went by before Czech Republic's "starkinver" won the event for $13,597. Dutch regular "TeamShippo" finished in second place and settled for $9,707.

XL Inferno #39 - $15,000 Tornado

XL Inferno #40 - $50,000 Turbo High Roller

At the end of this intense day, there was a $50,000 Turbo High Roller. In total, 338 players registered for this turbo event, and within four hours, they crowned a winner. "GiNgErSpEw" defeated all of his opponents and won the first prize of $13,235.
