Raminder Singh Wins WSOPC Palm Beach Kennel Club Main Event
Amateur player Raminder Singh collected his first World Series of Poker Circuit ring and $168,995 for winning WSOP Circuit Palm Beach Kennel Club $1,675 Main Event Feb. 20. It's the third six-figure cash in the last 13 months for the IT consultant and it pushes him past $700,000 in career cashes.
"I just started getting good hands at the right time," Singh told tournament staff after the win. "It was a good run. Feels terrific."

With 524 entries in the event, 54 would be paid. Russ Head, Jerry Wong, Steven McKoy, David Prociak, Phil Hui, Ian O'Hara, Sean Small, Austin Peck and Tripp Kirk were some of the players advancing into the money but failing to reach the final table.
The latter bubbled the unofficial final table when he jammed his last eight big blinds with fours and ran into the tens of 2015 WSOPC Palm Beach Kennel Club champ Peter Vitantonio, according to the live updates.
Despite that late Day 2 boost, Vitantonio, who was coming off of a win in the $1,125 No-Limit Hold'em event, couldn't get past ninth when he lost a race to Steven Stout.
Singh, meanwhile, had gone into the final day just a hair behind four-time ring winner Sam Panzica. That changed early on when Singh made straights to drag a pair of nice pots, including getting three streets from Panzica on a board of K♠6♦5♦2♠5♠ while holding 4♣3♣.
Singh then furthered his lead with two eliminations. First, he ran a flush with A♥Q♥ all in preflop against the jacks of Daniel Letts. Then, Singh opened with tens and got three-bet by Eric Bunch. Singh called and the flop came A♥10♣9♠. Bunch had A♦K♠ and they got stacks in with Singh way in front. He turned Bunch dead with the 2♠.
After the elimination of David Berman, former leader Panzica got his last 13 big blinds in with eights but ran into William Kopp's kings and couldn't improve.
Singh's momentum slowed after he handed out a couple of doubles, but he had so many chips, those were mere speed bumps as he stayed north of 70 big blinds. However, after being caught bluffing by Stout, Singh finally lost his lead when he jammed ace-ten over an open from Kopp, who called and won with A♦K♦.
Kopp's lead was short-lived. He ran into a set flopped by Singh and then four-bet shoved king-queen into Singh's ace-queen for about 25 big blinds and saw a brick-filled board hit the felt to end his run in fourth.
That put Singh back in command with over half of the chips three-handed. He quickly finished off Jesus Cabrera with kings against ace-queen and then had only Stout left. Stout made Singh sweat a tad with a couple of doubles, but Singh would always put him right back down under 20 big blinds.
Finally, Singh called a shove for just under 15 big blinds and showed J♦10♥. Stout needed to hold with K♠6♥ but it wasn't to be as a ten appeared on the flop and another on the turn, giving Singh trips that couldn't be beaten on the river.
