New Global Live Tour Launched by partypoker
Partypoker is upping the ante when it comes to live poker tournaments in 2017 by launching what it's calling partypoker LIVE.
Partypoker LIVE is a brand new live tour that is headlined by a tournament called the partypoker Million. Each of these partypoker Million events commands a $5,000 buy-in and features a multi-million-dollar prize pool.
The first of these huge tournaments takes place in May at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal, Canada, and boasts a CAD$5 million guaranteed prize pool where the eventual champion is guaranteed to walk away with at least CAD$1 million.
Helping to launch the partypoker Million at the Playground Poker Club is a special promotion where the first 100 players to reach an online Day 1 receive a CAD$550 cash bonus - which is not deducted from the CAD$5 million prize pool - that can be used to go towards travel and other expenses. Satellites for this tournament, and the Online Phase 1s, can be found in the partypoker tournament lobby now; the final stages of the event take place May 6-11 and player can buy in directly to Day 1 at the Playground Poker Club for CAD$5,300.
Several other destinations for the partypoker LIVE festivals will be announced in the coming weeks.

The new partypoker LIVE tour will also host partypoker Million Nationals which will have a buy-in of $1,000 and guaranteed prizepools in excess of $500,000. These will be supported by the successful Grand Prix Poker Tour events with the same low buy-ins and high payouts for recreational poker players that were run across football stadiums in the UK in 2016.

This new live tour is the latest in a long line of improvements made by the partypoker management, runs alongside the £6 million guaranteed partypoker MILLIONS tournament and compliments the $11 million guaranteed Powerfest series.
