Andrew “luckychewy” Lichtenberger announced his new poker site, Luckychewy.com, via Twitter on Dec. 12.

The website states that its beta version of LuckyChewyPoker is available for download and that the version meets the UK Gambling Commission’s standards for remote gambling software as of July 2015. The website tested out of iTech Labs and generated tests to ensure random number generation, effective card shuffling for a single deck and unpredictable card sequencing.

Lichtenberger said that in addition to play money games being live, the team will update site functionality, user interface and artwork continually moving forward.

“Our vision is simple - a poker site by the players for the players with low rake and great rewards,” Lichtenberger posted on Twitter in a seven-post thread on his feed. “We have been sharing our platform with the international gaming community and intend to create as large a player pool as international laws allow for.”

Lichtenberger asked that those with ideas or input should reach out. He also hinted at promising developments in the future. Areas on his site that have not been filled suggest that poker lessons will come in the future. The site currently provides a poker school section with information on the poker basics and a referral system for those who want lessons from pros.

“We will have more updates and exciting news to share with regards to real money licensing and legislation in the times to come as well,” he said. “We are excited to continue to promote and share the game we all love.”

The Lucky Chewy PGT (Poker, Gaming and Trading Social Community) allows users to post their blogs and create groups, pools, advertisements, albums and discussions as a sort of forum. The website also has a news section with featured articles and an ESPN poker news scroll.

Beyond that, the site already has a list of daily tournaments in its gallery, namely the 6-Max Showdown, Akash 8-Handed $80, Burke’s Big 108, Kung Fu Eight by Eight, Chewy’s Daily Heads up $22, Wampole’s Wisdom, Four-Handed and Midnight Masters. To later be announced are the Daily Bounty Bonanza and the LuckyChewy’s International Poker Series with a variety of buy-ins.
