It seems almost every week New Jersey's Michael Haberman Jr. is making the headlines. After all, he has almost $700,000 in online tournament cashes as tracked by PocketFives on New Jersey regulated online poker rooms alone and is ranked in 616th in the PocketFives Worldwide Rankings despite being restricted from playing on large online poker networks available to other players around the world.
Haberman Jr. is likely to move up the rankings further after this weekend. Not only did he finish in second place under the screen name "LeftSid3" in the WSOP.com NJ/888poker NJ $10,000 Fierce Warrior for $2,506, but he also notched his biggest single cash in his online poker career with a victory in the WSOP.com NJ/888poker NJ $50,000 Ultimate Warrior for $13,500.
Also scoring big in the $50,000 Ultimate Warrior were Anthony "Flawlessbink" Maio with a third-place performance for $4,500 and Robert "ActionBob" Hwang finishing a couple of spots behind in fifth place to collect $3,000.
Meanwhile, another player in David "coles93" Coleman notched his biggest score at New Jersey online poker rooms with a victory in the PokerStars NJ Sunday Special, $50,000 Gtd. Also on the final table were Joseph "hoodini10" Udine taking third place for $5,650 and Sandeep "san52sara" Mathai snagging fourth place for $4,250.
On PokerStars NJ, "uknowIfeltu" won big by shipping the Sunday High Roller [6-Max], $15,000 Gtd for $8,037. Craig "YourPetCat" Rubinstein also cashed big after missing out on the win to collect the second-place prize of $5,358.
New Jersey's "Big_Daddy" was the big winner on partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com with a win in the Sunday $40K gtd of $9,760. Notable players on the final table in this tournament included Joseph "Gustavo" Sanfilippo (third - $4,636), Jason "RiverMan" Lawhun (fifth - $3,270) and Joshua "layitdown08" Rothberg (ninth - $1,318).
