First-Ever Cash Game Online Festival Begins Oct. 24
The Cash Game Festival began a few years ago with a handful of events in Tallinn, Estonia. The festival proved to be so popular that this year it made history by transforming into an international tour with stops thus far in London, Malta and Bulgaria. From Nov. 16-20, the festival returns to its routes in Tallinn for another poker festival with more than 120 hours of nonstop ring-game action and many exciting events outside the casino.
Next week, the Cash Game Festival will make history again with its first-ever Cash Game Festival Online taking place on the iPoker Network from Oct. 24-30.
The Cash Game Festival Online will be featuring 30 Twitch streamers broadcasting their actions in one hour blocks across more than a dozen poker clients including bet365 Poker, Ladbrokes, NetBet Poker, PaddyPower Poker and William Hill Poker. The action can be viewed starting at 6 p.m. UK time on each streamer's private Twitch channels, the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel and a variety of media outlets.
In addition to their own individual streamers, each player will separately take part in a competition from Monday, Oct. 24 to Friday, Oct. 28 on a feature table where they will compete against other streamers for three hours from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. (BST). The Cash Game Festival hosts Brandon Allen and Enri Orav, who will be toggling between the different streamers on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel to constantly provide viewers a different angle on the games. Unlike other online poker streams, this means that at times viewers will be able to see the hole cards of every player at the table.
The player that finishes with the most money during the three hour session will compete on the final feature table. Whoever finishes with most money from the table walks away with a Cash Game Festival Tallinn package valued at €2,000, which includes everything below:
- €800 buy-in to be spent at the Cash Game Festival at the Olympic Park Casino from Nov. 16-20
- €600 for accommodation for five nights, for two people at the five-star Radisson Blu Sky Hotel in Tallinn
- €400 for travel and spending money for two people
- €200 for hospitality services
Players Reacting Positively
In preparation of the festival, iPoker has been running easy-to-complete challenges qualifying players into €500 twice-a-day freerolls. Players that play at least three freerolls during the week are invited to play in a weekly €15K Cash Game Festival freeroll, which awards five €2,000 packages and 50 €100 prizes.
The last €15K Cash Game Festival freeroll takes place the day before the festival begins, on Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. (BST).
During the festival, the action is even more exciting for players with daily freerolls guaranteeing a €2,000 prize pool and the tournament. On the last day of the festival, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m. (BST), instead of a €15k freeroll, the freeroll is transformed into the €20K Cash Game Festival freeroll, which pays out five €2,000 packages and one-hundred €100 prizes. By the end of the festival, more than 20 Cash Game Festival Tallinn packages will be awarded.
The lead-up promotions to the festival appear to have thus far provided dividends for iPoker with ring-game traffic undergoing a significant rebound to almost 1,000 concurrent ring-game seats based off a seven-day moving average according to the PokerScout Online Poker Traffic Report in mid-October.
