WPT National Ireland Festival of Poker Heads to Killarney
The INEC Killarney is preparing for the partypoker-sponsored WPT National Ireland Festival of Poker, which runs from Thursday, Sept. 15 through to Sunday, Sept. 18, with online legs starting earlier, on the 11th.
Kicking the festival off is a €250,000 guaranteed Irish Grand Prix, a tournament featuring several online (played at partypoker) and live starting flights, each costing only €115 to buy into. Players are permitted to play as many Day 1s as they wish, but only their largest stack is taken through to the final day’s play.
Running alongside the Irish Grand Prix live flights is the €1,100 WPT National Ireland Main Event. This €250,000 guaranteed tournament will sit players down with a generous stack of 30,000 chips and increase blinds every hour until a champion is crowned.
