Phil Galfond -- Run it Once

High-stakes poker pro, Phil Galfond has announced he's opening up a real money online poker site via his own training site RunItOnce.com.

Details on the launch were sparse, but the announcement penned by Galfond himself focused on the values that he promises to uphold as an online poker operator. "A poker site shouldn't obsess over where poker was five or ten years ago. It should seek to build a sustainable economy in the conditions of the present. It must continue to adapt to the climate," Galfond wrote.

In addition, Galfond writes that his site will value the players first and foremost, whether those players are recreational, semi-pros, or make their entire living playing poker. Galfond states that the site will pride itself on honesty, transparency, and "should be held accountable for the decisions it makes."

Further details on the launch are forthcoming.

Galfond has earned his living in poker for over ten years as both a professional, and also through his training site RunItOnce. He has over $2 million in live tournament earnings and has won two World Series of Poker bracelets, in addition to his winnings in both live and online cash games.
