It was a huge weekend in the Garden State with most of the tournaments with at least a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool smashing their guarantees.
The biggest winner over the weekend was "AnthonyMason", who shipped the WSOP.com NJ/888poker NJ NJ $50,000 The Ultimate Warrior for $13,825. Finishing just behind him was "Blacktomas" collecting the runner-up prize of $8,086, while "Boney526a" banked $4,617 for third place.
Also with a five-digit haul in a single tournament this weekend was Justin "Byeo" Chmielarz, who took home $10,225 after winning the PokerStars NJ Sunday Special, $50,000 Gtd. Three other well-known New Jersey players appeared on the final table in this tournament including Justin "L0ck1tUp" Wong (4th - $4,250), Timothy "tcIrish13" Clark (7th - $1,750), and last weekend's overall biggest winnerJames "BurntBagels" Lillis (9th - $950).
The biggest winner on partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com was Michael "pay4medsch00l" Lavenburg, who bested a star-studded final table including eight well-known players in the Sunday $40k Championship Bonus for $9,200. Lavenburg added to his big day on this network by also taking second place in the Sunday Seconds $10K Gtd for $9,200.
Michael "JohnnyDrama" Haberman Jr took second place in the Sunday $40k Championship Bonus for $6,058 and added to his already great day with a win in the Daily $10K for $3,304.
Meanwhile, Jesse "NoXcape" Elliot also managed a great day by taking third place in the Sunday $40k Championship Bonus for $4,370 and having a bigger haul by finishing in first place as part of a four-way deal in the PokerStars NJ Sunday High Roller for $4,999.
