Bill Perkins Offers Byron Kaverman a $50,000 Bet To Complete an Ironman Triathlon

It's no secret that Bill Perkins likes to get involved in high-stakes prop bets, and he's back with another one involving an Ironman triathlon and Byron Kaverman.

Kaverman and Perkins put up $50,000 against one another in a bet that in order to win Kaverman must complete an Ironman triathlon in under 13 hours. Per stipulations of the bet, he has less than six months to do this.

If you're unfamiliar with an Ironman triathlon, it's a three-headed monster of a competition that involves a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run. These three legs of the race are done in order without a break in between. The average finishing time for those that complete one of these grueling endurance competitions is 12.5 hours.

At the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl that both men were involved in, Sarah Herring talked with Kaverman and Perkins in the following videos:

This isn't the first big fitness-based prop bet Perkins has been involved in as of late, and it likely won't be the last. He recently bet $600,000 against Dan Bilzerian that Bilzerian couldn't bike from Las Vegas to L.A. in 48 hours or less. Perkins lost that bet.

Then, with Bilzerian, Perkins also bet Brian Rast the same bike-to-L.A. bet, but with little time to spare the two gave Rast 6-1 on $100,000. Rast won this one.
