The RunGood Poker Series is back in action in the final month before the World Series of Poker, and a new venue and some juiced-up prize pools are some of the highlights of the upcoming "Ignite the Night" three-stop tour.

To kick off Ignite the Night, the RunGood team will roll into Harrah's North Kansas City for the very first time for a quick-hitting weekend stay that will feature two tournaments. The first is on April 29 at 7 p.m. and is a $230 buy-in with $10,000 guaranteed in the prize pool. The following night, RunGood will host its first ever one-day Main Event, a $340 buy-in with $25,000 guaranteed.

It's back home to Oklahoma for the tour the following week, with a stop at Hard Rock Tulsa. After a handful of lead-in tournaments, including a $180 RunGood Pro Bounty with a $25,000 guarantee, the $675 Main Event kicks off Thursday, May 5 with the first of three starting flights. The following two flights are May 6, and Day 2 (May 7) will see a champ crowned. Not only will that winner claim the lion's share of a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool, but he or she will also get a $10,000 WSOP Main Event seat, added on to the prize pool.

Finally, the tour will close out Ignite the Night with a trip to Horseshoe Council Bluffs the next week. The schedule will be much like that of Hard Rock Tulsa, with a $135 Pro Bounty, a $180 Deepstack, and a $675 Main Event, this one starting on Friday and ending Sunday. The Main Event will carry a $100,000 guarantee, and winners of both that tournament and the Deepstack will claim $2,000 Las Vegas packages that will be added to the prize pool.

Additionally, all winners will have their names engraved on a new piece of hardware that will follow the series, the RunGood Traveling Champion's Cup.

“Each year, we try to add something new to the tour," Tour President and founder Tana Karn said. "Because whether it is your first time or 10th time joining us, we want players saying they can’t wait to see what we’ll be back with next season.”

As usual, PokerNews will be on hand to provide live reporting at each of the three Main Events, and a number of RunGood Team Pros on hand to contribute to the action and fun.
