GSSS IV Returns to BorgataPoker and partypoker NJ with $1 Million in Prizes 0001

To the delight of poker players in New Jersey, the Garden State Super Series (GSSS) is back for its fourth-edition on partypoker NJ and BorgataPoker.com from February 28 until March 13.

The GSSS IV features 62 action-packed events with a combined $1 million in guaranteed prizes. This represents a significant increase from the 43 events and $800,000 in guaranteed prizes featured in the GSSS III, which took place back in October. Additionally, this by far provides the biggest tournament action for online poker in NJ this year.

The highlight of the series is the GSSS IV Main Event, which doubles as event #57 on the schedule, taking place on March 13. The Main Event features a lofty $150,000 guaranteed prize pool by itself for just a $215 buy-in. It is also one of the 47 events on the schedule which allows players to reenter, giving New Jersey players multiple chances to win big.

For players that deem the $215 buy-in to be too big for their bankroll there are satellites for the event Additionally, the schedule features many lower buy-in events starting at just $20.

Higher buy-in players also should be able to enjoy many events on the schedule. There are a handful of events at the $535 and $1,060 buy-in levels including the $535 buy-in GSSS #12 - MAJOR: MEGA TUESDAY 500 - $20K GTD NLH [RE-ENTRY] on March 1, the $535 buy-in GSSS #31 - $50,000 GTD NLH HIGH ROLLER 6MAX [RE-ENTRY] on March 6, the $535 buy-in GSSS #41 - $20,000 GTD NLH [RE-ENTRY] on March 8, and the $1,060 buy-in GSSS #58 - $75,000 GTD NLH HIGH ROLLER [RE-ENTRY] on March 13.

There are also tournaments at the $55 and $109 buy-in levels providing mid-stakes players plenty of options.

While most of the schedule features no-limit hold'em events, there are also tournaments on the schedule featuring pot-limit Omaha, pot-limit Omaha hi/lo, and 7-card stud. Additionally, the schedule offers plenty of different tournament formats including freezeouts, reentries, rebuys, 6-max, turbos, and bounties.

One thing of note is that players do not need to reside in New Jersey in order to play in the GSSS IV, they just need to be in the state's borders while the tournament is taking place.
