High-stakes poker specialist Viktor "Isildur1" Blom was by far the biggest winner in online poker during 2015, taking home over $2.1 million from his play on PokerStars and Full Tilt. That figure might actually be a bit more, as it is rumored that Blom also won big on the Microgaming Poker Network.

Blom experienced a good year on PokerStars, where, according to HighStakesDB, he won nearly $3.5 million over 249,272 hands. This result made Blom by far was the biggest winner by site, with the second highest being "bbvisbadforme" who won $965,770 over just 7,863 hands on Full Tilt.

Even when taking into account that Blom was the year's second biggest loser on Full Tilt with $1,367,244 in losses over 69,133 hands, the Swede finished the year with more than double the profit of anyone else.

Blom's year was perhaps one of his best with two of his three largest pots won lifetime on PokerStars coming in 2015. The biggest pot shipped to him was a $365,895 one at a $200/$400 pot-limit Omaha table against American poker refugee Sean "WithColor" Rafael on Aug. 25. The same day, he shipped another pot against Rafael worth $274,698.

The only player to make the top 10 list twice for biggest winners per site was Ben Sulsky. On Full Tilt, Sulsky finished in fourth place in 2015 under the screenname "Sauce1234" for $743,015 over 3,574 hands. Sulsky padded his total to over $1 million from his results on PokerStars, where he plays under the screenname "Sauce123." There he won $409,969 in 103,790 hands, which was good enough for fifth place on the list.

Meanwhile, Isaac Haxton might have had the most efficient year on Full Tilt after winning $341,519 in 1,805 hands under the screenname "luvtheWNBA." This was good enough for the sixth most profitable player by site.

Not all of the big names in poker had great years, though. Most notably, Phil Ivey racked up the year's worst with over $3.7 million in losses in nosebleed online games. Ivey also wound up being the biggest loser by site, when, under the screenname "RaiseOnce," he lost almost $2.5 million over 126,026 hands on PokerStars. Things didn't go much better for Ivey on Full Tilt where he plays under the screenname "Polarizing". Ivey lost $1.25 million over 32,737 hands on this site, and that placed him in third place on the list of biggest losers.
