Ivey, Dwan, Trickett, Cates, and More Now Confirmed for WPT $200,000 Super High Roller
Last week, the names of 12 participants were announced as confirmed for the World Poker Tour National Philippines Festival of Poker $200,000 Super High Roller. On Thursday, another batch of confirmations were released through Poker King Club, and it included some true poker juggernauts.
According to the release, Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Sam Trickett, Daniel Cates, Andrew Robl, Vivek Rajkumar, Fedor Holz, and Andrew Pantling have all been confirmed, and the total list of confirmed players now boasts 21 names for the largest event in WPT history. Those eight new additions are certainly some of the names top high roller names, and the group of them boasts a whopping $63,146,668 in combined live tournament earnings.
The $200,000 Super High Roller will run Jan. 3-4, 2016, and take place at Solaire Resort & Casino. The event is sponsored by the Cali Group and part of the Triton SHR Series. The entire WPT National Philippines schedule will run Jan. 2-8.
Already confirmed through the first release were Richard Yong, Paul Phua, Lei Tim Meng, Mui Man Bok, Qin "The Chairman" Si Xin, Wang "Shanghai Wong" Qiang, Zhang "Big Head" Xi Hong, Wang Zuo, Stanley Choi, Zhang Shu Nu Aaron, Liang Yu, and Chan Wai Leong.
